Great Wolf Lodge is the largest family indoor water park resort in the US, and we have one in Grapevine, just a 40 minute drive from Plano.

Great news – to use the indoor water park, you don’t need to stay at the hotel! Many parents do like to stay in the hotel though, so you can take a break in your room and visit multiple times as the air can get stuffy and hot.

Many Moms say it’s better value if you incorporate a Room Stay though

When you stay a night you essentially get two days in the Water Park plus the kids love the magic quest game (and it’s a several hours event). So, if you’re going to spend money there I’d spend a little more and get more bang for your buck.

However, it is always worth checking if they have any Specials to stay a night or two to enjoy all other attractions, also try Groupon or Resort Pass for discounts if you book/pay ahead of time

Great Wolf Lodge has 80,000 square feet of water park with tons of activities to choose from.

You can enjoy The Fort Mackenzie, a water fort treehouse with interactive water toys and kid-activated splash features. Or have a thrilling ride at the Howlin’ Tornado, a super-fast thrill ride in a raft built for four.

They have a lazy river, slides, pools and rides for all age groups.

The twists, and turns will have you howling before you drop into the six-story funnel of fun, and you can see how high you can ride up the walls before you shoot into the last tunnel for an unforgettable splashdown. You need to visit to experience the fun!

Amenities such as a laser tag maze, kids’ spa, and interactive movie theater will keep the entire family busy, and for some parents-only playtime, head to the 24-hour arcade, which becomes adults-only after midnight.

Multiple room packages are available. Go online to check their nightly rates calendar for deals on suites. Book one night and get nearly two full days of resort access.
