In 2023, Alight formalized its robust ESG strategy, aligningwith the company's purpose and values. This strategy centers onthree pillars: championing people, social innovation andresponsible business practices, and serves as the foundation forcreating positive impact.

Championing People
Alight took significant steps to support the wellbeing anddevelopment of its colleagues, including publishing a Human RightsPolicy and enhancing the company's continuous performancemanagement program. Alight also developed its first DiversityReport and expanded its colleague recognition program.Additionally, the company increased access and resources on theAlight Worklife platform for all colleagues to help support mental,physical, financial and social health.
Social Innovation
Alight continued to develop innovative solutions that addresssocial determinants of health through expanded analytics andspearheaded the launch of the Portability Services Network (PSN) toimprove retirement outcomes by promoting auto portability withinthe U.S. retirement system.
Responsible Business Practices
Alight made significant progress in its commitment toresponsible business practices, including signing the Science BasedTargets initiative commitment letter and setting a goal to utilize100% renewable electricity within its facilities by 2032.Additionally, Alight formalized its artificial intelligence (AI)policy and oversight framework to ensure ethical and secure use oftechnology.

Alight’s ESG strategic roadmap
In 2024, Alight conducted a double materiality assessment topinpoint the most important ESG factors to both internal andexternal stakeholders. This comprehensive process tracked changesin ESG priorities since the 2021 assessment and highlightedinsights into the relative significance of each ESG factor and thelevel of alignment between stakeholder groups.
Looking ahead, Alight intends to integrate the results from the2024 materiality assessment into its ESG strategic roadmap, whichserves as a blueprint for the company's initiatives and actionstoward progress. The material topics identified in the assessmentwill remain integral components of Alight's annual Global ImpactReport.
Accordingly, Alight's ESG strategy moving forward is focused onsix key areas: empowering healthy minds, bodies, wallets and lives;increasing diversity and inclusion; investing in colleaguedevelopment; integrating sustainable innovation; demonstratingethical and secure practices; and reducing environmentalimpact.
