Amato’s family grew increasingly concerned until they finally confronted him about stealing $200,000 from them.
The cash was used to buy sex toys and a warehouse of gifts for the raven-haired cyber beauty.
Amato was under pressure to get a job and get out of his parent’s house. He’d just finished rehab for sex addiction when he began plotting his fantasy life.
As his parents — Margaret and Chad Amato — and brother Cody arrived at their Seminole County home, the killer executed them one by one with a handgun.
On Wednesday, the sullen-faced Amato sat expressionless as he was pronounced guilty of first-degree murder.

On Aug. 12, the jury will decide whether to give Grant Amato a one-way ticket to death row.
“Grant fell in love with a woman named Silvie. Not only did he fall in love with her, he became obsessed with her. To the point that she’s all that mattered,” the prosecution said.
Amato’s surviving brother Chad sobbed as the verdict was read.
The former nurse began his downward spiral in July 2018 when he was fired from his job for stealing drugs from the hospital.
That’s when he connected with Bulgarian webcam girl Sylvia Ventsislavova on a sexxx-rated website.
His brother and father found out — too late — what he was doing and told the Balkan babe that Grant didn’t have any money.

Amato had been ordered by his family to get a job or join the army.
Earlier in the week, the prosecution showed jurors photos of the objection of his affections.
“I know some of you looked at him. I know what some of you saw, because I saw the same thing. He was transfixed on that woman,” prosecutor Domenick Leo told the jury.
After his family obliterated his lies while he was in sex rehab, prosecutors said Amato was desperate to win Ventsislavova back.
Amato’s defence team are now scrambling to save his life and during the trial questioned the timeline of the murders.
